Spend a day learning about Orlando, the "City Beautiful," and all of its local history. Be sure to bring your camera as you visit the lakes and downtown neighborhoods before heading to a tasty Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues.
First, get to the heart of the city on a stop at Lake Eola. The lake is surrounded by the dining venues and shops of Thornton Park, South Eola District, and the Central Business District—truly making Lake Eola the center of downtown Orlando. The majestic fountain and graceful swan boats make Lake Eola an exceptional amenity to the area.
Next, it's on to Winter Park for a narrated scenic boat cruise from which you can view the stunning local homes as well as the gorgeous architecture that surrounds the sprawling campus of Rollins College. Established in 1885, this private school is known for its quality academic strengths. Once back on dry land, take some time to peruse the multitude of boutiques and stores of Park Avenue, Orlando's famous shopping and dining district.
Sit down for lunch at the famous Gospel Brunch show at the House of Blues, located in the downtown Disney area. Before and during the show, treat yourself to an amazing all-you-can-eat buffet featuring breakfast favorites plus tender carving stations, southern specialties, and mouth-watering desserts.
To finish off the afternoon, make your way through the attraction region to Disney’s “perfect community,” the City of Celebration.
