House of Blues Orlando is one of the most famous nightlife venues at Disney World Resort – if not in the entire Central Florida region, packing in an impressive line-up of artists from around the world. As well as hosting a huge hall for the big concerts, House of Blues doubles up as a relaxed restaurant in the daytime with plenty of other seating options if you just want a few drinks in the evening.
This really is one Orlando nightlife venue which takes its live music seriously, with some huge homegrown and international names booked in on a regular basis. Non-blues fans shouldn’t be put off either; HOB is much more than just soft rock, with everything from EDM to pop, acoustic solo artists to thrash metal being belted out to hundreds of fans every week.

House of Blues Orlando is part of the domestic US chain of entertainment venues which have now spread to more than a dozen cities across the country. Started in 1992 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, you’ll find more outlets in New Orleans, Chicago, LA and Boston, amongst others.
Just like the list of other House of Blues across the country dining at this Orlando spot offers much of the same thing: quality American comfort food served in generous portions at reasonable prices. The menu stretches from no-nonsense American classic like Mac & Cheese, burgers, chicken wings and jambalaya, to some more refined dishes for those counting the calories a little more, such as freshly grilled fish, salads, and light pastas. The drinks menu is just as comprehensive with domestic and international labels of beer wine, spirits and all your usual cocktails.
Come for the music, come to see the impressively huge interior, come for the safe-bet food, or just come to say you’ve been to one of Orlando’s most famous nightlife institutions. Find it at the ‘Disney Springs’ area of the park in Downtown Disney. Parking is available or there is a shuttle service that runs close to the venue, which, by the way, is surrounded by dozens of other restaurants, bars and live music clubs.
