The Wizarding World of Harry Potter takes you into the famous Harry Potter movies with a combination of 4D rides, rollercoasters, and recreations of the worlds you see on screen. Spanning two of Universal's famous theme parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, this is a whole recreation of Harry’s world, with all the places mentioned in the books brought to life. There is a full scale replica of the Hogwarts Express train to shuttle excited fans of the famous fictional wizard between both parks. The two worlds are split into Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade Village.
The ornate castle area is located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park and has several rides including the standout Dragon Challenge rollercoaster which features to intertwined tracks, and the less intense Flight of the Hippogriff which offers amazing views of the complete Harry Potter world.
When you reach Universal Studios Florida you will land at Diagon Alley on the streets of London, where you get the chance to experience thrilling 4D rides, including the memorable Gringotts Bank experience. You can also choose your very own wand in Diagon Alley and even try some British pie! Here you can try some butter beer, shop for your very own cape and ride two impressive rollercoasters.
A very popular shop is Ollivander’s Wand Shop, where budding wizards can purchase their own wand, which can be used to create spells within the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They are pricey, but it’s not often you get the chance to cast spells.
Admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is included in your ticket to the Universal Orlando Theme Park or your annual pass. Please note, to visit both sides of Harry Potter World you will need to have a park-to-park admission or annual pass as the two worlds are in separate theme parks.
