Marine-Life Zoological and Theme Park in Orlando0
Orlando’s enormous SeaWorld is one of the most-visited marine-life theme parks in the US, best known for its range of aquatic-themed rides and rollercoasters, exhibitions and shows. Star attractions here include the Shark Encounter tunnel - allowing you to walk through an underwater world - as well as Dolphin Cove and Stingray Lagoon, both of which offer a ‘hands-on’ experience with the animals.
Also part of the extended SeaWorld theme park in Florida site is the ever-popular Discovery Cove and Aquatica water park; both of these are classed as separate theme parks and do require their own tickets (or accessed via a combined park pass). Admission to SeaWorld alone starts at $70 on weekdays and $87 on weekends for adults, with combo tickets including entry into Aquatica waterpark at $99.Read More

“Seas” at SeaWorld Orlando
The huge 200 acre SeaWorld park was recently separated into different “
seas” (or just areas), making it easy to navigate and find exactly what you’re looking for. There are eight in total:
Port of Entry is exactly that, a gateway for guests at SeaWorld to explore the park and access the various areas – look out for the Shamu-themed lighthouse to guide you the way. Head to Sea of Shallows to find the park’s main Dolphin Theatre, as Turtle Trek and the exhilarating ‘Manta’
rollercoasterthat flies overhead.
For some slightly more mysterious creatures inhabiting the bottom of the ocean, head to Sea of Legends, with popular attractions here including ‘Journey to Atlantis’ boat ride through the legendary lost city, and also ‘Kraken’ – a floorless rollercoaster taking you through an underwater world.
Follow a penguin home through the harsh storm at Sea of Ice’s only attraction, ‘Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin’, or swap for climates for the warmer Mediterranean-themed Sea of Delight, home to the park’s huge 400-foot ‘Sky Tower’ nearby the Sea Lion and Otter viewing stadiums.
The Sea of Mystery’s main draw is the impressive shark viewing tunnel, complete with an adjacent restaurant (Shark’s Underwater Grill) where you can tuck into lunch with the huge predators swimming around you (with a layer of glass in between you and them, of course!). Kids-favorite area Sea of Fun promises family-friendly attractions like the ‘Shamu Express’ rollercoaster), a net climbing structure, and a water play area. Finally, Sea of Power is the place to be to catch SeaWorld’s famous orca whale shows at the ‘Shamu Stadium’, while there are also some cooler simulator rides and animal exhibitions at ‘Wild Arctic’.
